Ingredients

200 g Wheat Flour D’OURO Special Cakes
150 g margarine at room temperature
150 g sugar
5 eggs
1 lemon (juice and zest)

Recipe

  1. In a bowl, beat the margarine with the sugar, until the mixture is homogeneous. Add yolks and beat. Add lemon zest, juice and flour and beat well.
  2. In another bowl, beat egg whites. Add 1/3 of them to the remaining ingredients and whisk. Then, add the remaining egg whites and wrap gently with a spoon.
  3. Put the dough in a greased and dusted form and bring to preheated oven at 180º C, for 30 to 40 minutes or until cooked.
